Which types of Traveller stories would you like to see in a future Traveller comic book from Markosia?

I wouldn't mind seeing something about Arbellatra, who I've always found interesting. But I didn't like the way she was treated in Agents of the Imperium and would be less interested in any story that played along those lines, which is why I didn't pick that as one of my three

I'd like to see a ship's crew on some of the Classic Traveller adventures. I think that would be fun.

A Hiver's Manipulation, toward some deliberately anti-climactic end; pulling strings and causing cascading consequences for a bunch of other characters, revealed eventually to be a means to achieve something simple it could have just done itself.

I'd like to see
- a merc company involved in the 5th FW [Hammer's Slammers -ish]
- a series centered on a psion as the protagonist
- something featuring the Darrians; perhaps a plot about retaking one of the Entropic Worlds; no Star Trigger plz
- something showing the Solomani as the racist jackasses they are
- something featuring the Zhodani as people, not enemies; perhaps some of the internal politicking trying to balance the 5th FW and the next Core Expedition?
- here is some Traveller lore Markosian can write for itself and add to the Library Data: a series focusing on the agents and deputies of the Imperial Ministry of Justice.

To Imperials 'today' she's a revered figure, a cross between Elizabeth I and Horatio Nelson to the British. And just like every other revered historical figure, she was a human being... full of contradictions, insecurities, and foibles. She absolutely had her strong suits... she wouldn't have lasted as Empress otherwise. But showing her as a whole person would be interesting.
One VERY interesting plot line for Empress Arbellatra would be her war to hunt down and prosecute those Imperial Navy and Marine commanders who went rogue during the Civil War. You have to think that she'd see those mercenaries in uniform as a direct threat to her legitimacy on the Throne. And in any revolution SOMEBODY is going to be made an example of....

probably the three subjects that I come to find of the most interest to me after my first four months of immersing myself in (Mongoose) Traveller.
I love the Element Class and Naval Campaigns.. in the middle of running the adventures/ campaign linking the adventures now. The notion of active duty Travellers was an interesting concept, that immediately grabbed my attention once I really started checking out what Mongoose had done, that could have been a lot of fun to play and so far has really has been.
Sort of touched on my (newbie) view with the Vargr ... and the Extents. Even as a newbie I'm rolling my eyes everytime I see the Aslan/Trojan Reaches mentioned or covered in new material. Would really like to see some, more, to say nothing of a comparable amount of material, given over to covering the Vargr, the corsairs, the Extents, the Julian Protectorate and the coreward border of the Imperium.
Last.. forget the borders. And sounds like it will be covered in Singularity but the single most interesting part of the Imperium to me is right at its center. Perhaps it is a reflection of just how good the Sector book was, how it was my favorite of all the sector books, but would love to see more about the Core Sector. A series of comics based on Core would be pretty cool.

Sure, that's why I didn't vote for that. I don't have any interest in learning more about the black ships either. Same mixed feelings I have about an Imperial Marines sourcebook like the Imperial Navy. I'm sure it will be based on Loren Wiseman's "US Marine Corps in SPAAACE" vision and I'm not interested in that. It's not a bad version, just one I don't care for, so I'd rather other things be done instead.

Obviously, I'm a big fan of the Core and see it as a vibrant setting. If Third Imperium didn't bring folks on board, I hope Singularity will. It heavily adds lore and depth to the sector. I'd love to develop a comic series in the Core, showing some of the politics there among other things.
That would be nice! Probably set in Core sector, in a high population planet-sprawling city.

In re: Arbellatra, that's why I suggested a plotline that might show some of her negative aspects. Hunting down the officers of a Marine regiment that sold its services to the highest bidding claimant to the Throne would definitely show a vengeful and perhaps vicious side of her. As she is currently portrayed I can see her feeling that such officers besmirched the 'honor of the uniform' and she is going to have absolutely no mercy on them... and that can look ugly from the outside.
In re: the Imperial Marine Force, I don't see the Marines as wholly a USMC clone. OTOH, all I know about the UK's Royal Marines and the French Fusil-Marines is what I've seen in videos, so I'm not really qualified to comment there. I think that Ground Forces style book would be better than a book devoted entirely to the IMF.
A book on the Imperial Army would be great. But, in a sense, that comment showcases my point. The US Marines are, essentially, a mini-Army. They have had their own artillery, aircraft, armor, infantry, special forces, etc. They don't have the same level of logistics assets that the Army does (The Navy provides a lot of it). They are basically the only Navy derived Marines that do that (and, to be fair, they have been scaling back on some of that recently).
The Royal Marines and the Fusiliers Marins are entirely infantry. The Royal Marines are 100% commandos (except maybe their Band?
). They have Army assets that cross train with them to supply armor, artillery, and air support. The Fusiliers-Marins are really specialized Naval security personnel. On the actual topic, I would like to see more about the Vargr corsairs and Ihatei because that's an opportunity to get beyond the stereotypes and actually explore how those characters behave. Particularly how they are different from humans doing the same thing. That would interest me a lot.
I enjoy reading military sci fi and cyberpunk but I'm not thinking there's much about those things that would be distinctively Traveller or uniquely Charted Space. And, frankly, there's no lack of such to read.
