where did the campaign guide go?

Mongoose
That was on upcoming releases(I swear I saw it!) but now it's nowhere to be seen!

ARGH! That was THE most anticipiated book for me. Sounds like heaven for lazy/bad GM like myself :D

Where did it go? When can we expect it? Please tell me it being out of upcoming releases is just a technical glitch and it's coming soon(wasn't it listed to March originally?)...

Yes, it was on the schedule for March 2010 as Supplement 8: Campaign Guide. Now Power Armour is Supplement 8 and the Campaign Guide is nowhere to be seen.

I was also wondering this too. Could be this just has to do with a more miniatures-oriented (Power Armor) sort of decision? I look forward to the Campaign Guide whenever you publish it either way.

It is a bit irritating. It's something I would certainly have a use for, whereas a book about power armour is just about useless to me.

No news about it on yesterday's blog post either :( Plenty of other titles mentioned but not this one.

Argh. Could be quite a while before it is released :(

And top of that I got seriously sick on the day my sister's daughter gets her name officially and I was supposed to hold the baby in the ceremony. DRAT! Bad news pile on bad news.

I was looking forward to using this book as well!

I need something to generate adventures that are somewhere between rough scenarios dreamt up an hour before they're needed and the complexities that typical MGT campaign books introduce.

Hi guys,

Just a little delay on the Campaign Guide - don't worry, _I_ want this book for my games, so you can be sure it will be reappearing!

Good to know. But since it's not listed for may would end of june be earliest we can expect to get our hands on it? Especially in Europe :D

To quote my lady fair "Wants it!!!" lol

Over a month and still no sign. I had originally hoped to have it in my hands around this time latest and it's not even in list of future releases!

Mongoose give us some news regarding this please? Any progress on it? Any ETA's available?

We are working on it!

Over the next few months, you'll see some bits and pieces in S&P of some of the items that will be apeparing in the Campaign Guide.

Atleast there's that. Could you shed some light on what has been causing this delay? Subject has been bigger than you anticipiated? Technical issues? Something else?

Many, many things going on at the moment. . .

I was offered this project, I think after someone else pulled out. There are various other factors at work here but largely this is my fault for suddenly not being there.

Unfortunately the offer of this book and others coincided with my decision to terminate my involvement with Traveller, so I turned it down. I do regret the inconvenience this caused Mongoose because my sudden (but obviously going to happen sooner or later, at least in hindsight) decision not to do Traveller any more derailed the schedule somewhat.

Not Martin's fault in the least! This is going to be a very cool project (as I have said, I have been waiting for it myself for my own games!), and it is going to get done right.
