What's happening?

Dear all,

I have been absent from these boards for a while, but I can't see the hands on, msprange user ID popping up anywhere very much at all. I've seen Jean knocking about (don't worry Jean that's a friendly British expression) on here but very little from the game designer himself.

Is this game dead?

Are the mini's dead?

Please say that they are not and that things are happening which we are not aware of.

I feel sometimes that compared to 6 months ago, if you said hello today you'd hear an echo.

Please give us a full break down of where we are, future releases, etc.

Are you referring to A Call to Arms: Star Fleet or A Call to Arms: Noble Armada?

(Since you noted Jean by name, I'm guessing it's the former, though I wasn't sure which you had in mind.)

There have been no official reports of either version of ACtA kicking the bucket any time soon, but we have yet to see much in the way of updates for either as of late. The reasons for both holdups would be different, given the nature of each game's licences and development setups.

However, there is news that both the Starline 2500s and the miniature line for ACtA:NA are in the process of being moved to a new facility. Reportedly, the new manufacturers are more trusted and respected by both Mongoose and ADB (though I can't say how Holistic sees things), so things should be looking up in the near future on the mini front.

Yes, it seems Matt has been neglecting us all lately, but as Nerroth said, he's been busy with the new partnership and moving the production to another facility.

Hi guys,

We have indeed been moving production - the move is now complete, but it will be a month or so before everything is organised and online.
