Actually when I've played against Nid's in the past, I've found him to be the least trouble!
I dont play 40k really anymore, I have a soft spot for buying, converting, and painting them little gribblies :)

Gribblies - Cool Choice of Word! He, He, He . . . . .

Before working for the EE, I never played anything except Necromunda - now I don't even play that.

Yeah, I remember you saying something about it :) . Speaking of ee, and words. Once I actually got into a mini-arguement about how to pronouce tyranid with a purist, kinda funny  . I am still wanting more of those bugs, they're going to hog arachnid space if I don't stop soon though...

According to the EE HQ Monkies I spoke to its TI-RA-NID - not TY-RA-NID.
And the hilarious TWIST!

Neither of us said it right :P

?!?!?!?!?!?! WTF did you say then LMAO!
I said ty-ran-id, he said tear-a-nid lol!! Maybe if I got inclined to move my lazy butt, I'd assemble those warriors and steal back some shelf space :o

Thats as bad as my Mrs trying to spell Rasczak!
CGI? Or the movie one? Well it's good talking to you again! Oh and while you where gone, I nabbed myself terran ascendancy, and got horribly owned at whiskey outpost after a wall was blasted(concentration of my forces was on that very spot). Anyhoo, well I'm going to play marathon infinity or something now. Cya another time dude :)

I've picked up a lot of things since last year when I got started playing. Another guy in my group ran the first Klendathu scenario two weeks ago. He's planning on running it as a campaign this year.

I'm working on a 4x16 multi-ravine canyon terrain board.
I've got 15 troopers in WASP packs to assemble and paint.
I'm going to give the BuShips method of magnet mounting a try with 2 boxes of Grizzly Exosuits and a box of Cougar Exosuits.
I've got a dozen Marauders from various sources, most assembled, that I want to standardize with one color scheme.
I plan on converting 2 GI JOE Dragonship toys into dropships.
I've also got a bunch of miscellaneous MI to paint, probably 30-40 figures- female troopers, Roughnecks, Heroes of the MI, platform teams, etc. I've been waiting until I could do them in a batch so they are mostly consistent.

So lots to do. Basically I've got enough stuff for 2 platoons of MI, and a platoon of everything else. I just need a lot of free time!! :)

At least my Bugs are mostly done, with the exception of a few swarms of Warriors and a Plasma Bug still unassembled.

Well, the world knows I'm standing good on Exosuits for awhile, so my next plunge is to open six boxes of Light Armor (ok, "Armour") Troopers and get them ready for battle. And no, I did not pick these up from one of the "great SST mini selloffs" that have seemed to be happening, as I have had them since they were originally released. These would be at the other end of the infantry scale from the Exosuits, but still have their valued place on the gaming table.

These selloffs are a boon to us diehards though :)

Yeah, but it dilutes the game at the same time by spawning rumors that the system has been cancelled or gamers "must" hate it. For example, Matt has been squashing BFE rumors over at TMP today that are just absurd and the punishment, torches and pitchforks just never seem to end. Besides, I'm a store as well as a gamer and see the deep discounts devaluing my inventory. I can see giving a good customer a decent discount, but flooding the market with near-wholesale pricing by panicked stores has quite frankly pissed me off, heh.

Now I fully understand that, BUT when you are obsessive about Starship Troopers (not just the game btw) as I am, you have to take advantage if only just to save a few pennies.

TBH TMP is so full of people who are WAY off the mark generally its quite scary really!
