I'm back in the saddle as far as SST is concerned, carrying on with my Skinnies and Working on my Exo Suit Platoon.

(I'm also painting more Trollbloods for my Hordes Army and painting 40mm stuff for my Mate Steve over at Monolith Designs)

I just wondered what everybody else was up to (other than Galatea who seems to do a lot all the while Lol).

I've a few unopened marauder-boxes and 6 exosuits that need assembly.. but i know i should finish my wasps and other marauders first,, so i build some terrain instead :lol:

Once that's done(11.5! Only 8 days and 3 exams!) I'll start to prepare for huge cold war commander campaign. Up to 5 divisions per side! Complete map campaign! Prepare for war :twisted: Can English army stop Russian invasion of east german(yeah why are Brits defending German with no sight of Germans? Answer: GHQ doesn't seem to have German infantry which is why I went for my 2nd choise of brits as western army :lol: ).

Also whole bunch of ACTA ships to be painted.

Nothing on SST front. All unpainted SST stuff(arachnids) are in Finland. And even if they were here I would NOT touch them. Transporting assembled arachnids is not easiest tricks :?

Oh, I nearly forgot - I'm painting 1500 Points of Arfika Korps for Flames of War too.

Well, you can see what I've been up to by looking at S&P #44 Wargamer :wink:.

Also, over the last few weeks and months I've been collecting bits of plastic shapes from some "imaginative" sources to make into settlement structures. With my Exosuits finally done (five boxes of 'em) I need to get on with doing up my Pathfinders and Light Infantry units. Maybe I'll do my LAMI's next, but it's going to be a big project, because I wanted around a hundred of them :shock:. I've certainly got the MI infrastructure to hold them, as I have two full-up forts and several outposts and settlements that they can defend.

ive dug out 3 skinnie vernerables and a skinnie maruader suit conversion i done, so may paint them so their finished.

also found a ton of exo suits i bought on the cheap a while back so may do them as well.

but il probably use the prepaints when they come out.

Working on painting up my MI company as time allows: 2 PAMI platoons, 1 Marauder platoon, support units (CHAS, TAC UAV, missiles, etc).

Throw in the LAMI platoon, Pathfinder Squad, and Skinnies, and I've a ways to go.

Not to mention all the terrain I've finally got space to start working on.

Mrs. Chipmunk's working on her arachnids, but is having trouble finding a scheme she likes for the warrior bugs.

Incidentally, she puts up a HECK of a fight! As in, 2 vs 1 battle, she was playing bugs.... Shotgun and I were playing MI....

Assembling a gang for GoMC1 based on Magnus Robot Fighter.

Magnus is based himself on the Giffen era (near the end of the Valiant Comics Magnus)

Still got 60 LAMI to paint up, though it takes me forever it seems.

Started putting together some buildings with removable rooftop (nothing too fancy) for BF:evo.
I'll try to run a demo within 4 weeks or so, but anything you promote, needs to be promoted with passion and love.

Well, there's those 8 Skinnie Venerables, 16 Raiders and a Lord sitting unpainted on my shelf, along with 31 Warrior Bugs, one Tanker and one halfway finished Tunnel Entrance. Damn, if don't get around painting soon, I'll be swarmed with grey and silver.

But right now I think they'll have to wait. Here in Poland there's not much going on with SST, since we're all holding our breaths for EVO, and I recently picked up a Circle Orboros Warpack for Hordes and some extra warbeasts Poko was selling, and right now I'm trying to make the pose of the Gorax look less stupid. I'm actually doing quite well with it too.

I'm working on (back at home, not uni) 60 LAMI, 35 Power Suits, and some other SST stuff.

At the moment a lot of 40k I've had floating around and airsoft (which is dominating my life at the moment...)

mostly procrastinating and converting hordes minis (17 wolves of Orboros need to have their spear shafts replaces with brass ones)

Mini painting and assembling will be taking a backseat to terrain building as I want to get a whoel bunch of stuff doen for BF evo demo games and a potential tourney at a con in October.

Got a load of nids (40k) to finish repainting to sell. Then got some heavy mortars, t-34s and scouts to finish for my Russians FOW, got some Exo suits that need detial stuff doing and then NOTHING Unless I buy some more for my Russians, really fancy some of Stalins Organs to sow fear into my enemy, and always on the look out for some cheap exo suits.
