What is the gift that a bride marrying a marine gets from the marines?
I am dating one, and we are talking marriage. He told me that if we have a marine wedding that the bride recieves a special gift.What is it? Also if any women out there are married to a marine and just want to share their experience i would greatly appreciate that too. If you are a marine tell me everything you know.

I'm a little confused what this has to do with the Conan RPG. Other then that, I spent 10 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and was married twice during that time and neither time did my unit give my wife a gift.

Each unit within the Marine Corps has different traditions, and while i had buddies in different units that were given plaques and display pieces before getting out, my unit didn't do anything like that.

So I'm guessing that this gift for a wife is a unit tradition, and not an actual Marine Corps tradition, that is if it us the U.S. Marine Corps.
