I didn't remember, but I looked it up

Sutek said:Yeah, I wouldn't like it that way either. A Scholar mod with hand to hand and Grappling bonuses and eastern magic. That's about all you need.

I still don't like that class. Super movement ability equal to three feats. Off the wall bonuses to tumble, jump, and balance. That class was just insanely wushu.
I mean at 20th level the character would have 90' of movemtn and greater mobility. That's not counting the fact the character could ahve three fleet footed feats as well. That's 110 feet of movement with a full attack option. Neta for a wushu thing but doens't seem Conan to me. Which I think is the problem with the Monk class. Instead of a "realistic" Soldier/Scholar type hybrid you geta DnD Wushu class. I might try to stat one up myself though... see what I can do with the idea.

I don't like Hyborian princesses being proficient with greatswords - it doesn't make sense and I would like something fixed about it. Not to mention that female nobles get weapon bonuses as a regional feature. Maybe there can be more choice in the special regional features - one for combative nobles and one for non-combative nobles.
They aren't proficient in Greatsword. The have weapon familarity which makes it a martial weapon but unless theya re of one of the classes that grants martial weapons they aren't proficient in it. A commoner, thief, or scholar would still need to spend a feat on greatsword unless they multiclassed into one of the other classes.
Though i agree that's it's odd that Hyborians get Wepaon Familarity in Greatsword but I think it's because they made it an exotic weapon instead of a martial weapon in Conan. This way it's easy for the more western races to be proficient in it while the other races aren't.
VincentDarlage said:This is a little thing, but I would like it if the Darfari didn't get Profession (sailor) as a background skill. Darfar is landlocked, and Pirate is a prohibited class, so Profession (sailor) doesn't make a lot of sense as a background skill.

Trodax said:* Oh, one more. The only change I would like to see regarding the otherwise excellent setting is this; put in elves and dwarves. It's really not a fantasy RPG without them.
