Well, I recieved my copy of Pavis Rises this morning from the pre-order
I must say it looks pretty good - Ive only read 20 pages so far...
Its extremely pleasant to see how 2nd age Pavis ties up with third age Pavis/Big Rubble and I can see some nice step to integrate the two with the same plan/landscape of the walls, gates, hills etc and cant wait to to read some of the later stuff with intruging man rune/giant statue illustrations built into the city... Ive not spotted the great library that I seem to recall was mentioned in the past and indeed Balastors barracks

but Im sure Loz hasnt forgotten them!
Although its way way too early to fully comment of what Ive seen, it seems like its going to be a very useful addition - and perhaps spark an explansion or two... Whilst perhaps the days of giant city maps with street-layouts and points of interest are a thing of the past, I cant help be recall how wonderfully Pavis (the box set) worked seemlessly and greatly helped whereas I would loved to have seen this for the districts of the city.
Liked having a table of names for High priests, if theyre in a position of power but personally I sure hope an expansion comes fleshing out both the district layouts and the major personalities.
Worth the money folks even after only 20 pages!!!
