Well Done on Lone Wolf

Mongoose
Just rediscovered the Lone Wolf books and the Mongoose RPG

AWESOME 8) 8) 8)

Great job, I have got the basic 4 Multiplayer books I need to run with (well, should do if I win Joe Dever's personal signed copy on ebay  )

Great stuff, takes me waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back to the good old days

Yep, loving this rediscovery of one of the coolest things from my long lost youth :D

Just wish I had checked it out before now, heck, I guess it was getting cheap second hand copies of GMI from Black Lion Games that did it (used to love that magazine) as tehy had several great battle reports featuring Joe Dever, Wayne et al, where they had HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE battles using miniatures to represent characters and forces from the Lone Wolf world.

Great stuff, and it was using miniatures properly too I thouhgt, lots of them and just saying "This model represents this guy, this one is this monster etc."

Freedom to play you know, not being restricted by what the manufacturer says it is supposed to be, if it looks like a Giak then, in my eyes at least, it's a Giak :D

Anyhow, I'm rambling, all very cool stuff :D :D :D

Cool, I'm looking forward to reading them in a big way (Sommerlund hasn't arrived yet, and I haven't actually won the bestiary yet, though I'm bidding on one out of Joe Dever's personal stash 8) 8) 8) )

They are both really good books but I thought Sommerlund was a terrific book. Full of ideas and interesting hooks for PCs visiting the cities there or its lands.

I just got the Sommerlund book yesterday (won the Magnamund Bestiary too 8) 8) 8) and I have to say I was amazed at just how much detail was in there,

very, very cool indeed

Have to say, reading through Lone Wolf stuff for the first time in many years that Joe Dever did an excellent job on this, it's very Lord of the Rings, it has it's own history, reason for being, cultures everything

great stuff :D

Yep, Joe's world is very cool. I was honoured to be able to bring it to life in two books, a few articles and even being allowed to add to the overall canon of the world in both Sommerlund, the Bestiary and the Bonus Adventure: Masquerade in Hikas, where Joe gave me carte blanche on the design of the city and how it all came together.

He really is a treat to work with.

It was fantastic to hand the skeleton of Sommerlund over to him, get his feedback and then watch as he changed a few things here and there and added a slew of bonus content to the book that even I didn't know was coming.

That's Joe for you :)
