Wave 3 Photos

i've just seen the promotion picture Mongoose is sending out forthe 3rd wave of Evo :roll: . http://theminiaturespage.com/news/603131/
Am I the only one wondering what good a picture of that resolution and size does?

I know before Mongoose was carting around 3X pictures and that kijnda blew up in their face, but this is the other extreme and its gonna end up doing exactly the same thing!
Its the year 2007 and when people see a fuzzy small picture they wonder what the photographer is trying to hide.

Now from what I've heard here wave 3 is actually a massive improvement, so why not show it off a bit more? Especially since the Tunguska's photo looks pretty good!

Well I'm guessing most you folks don't have a problem (maybe because you've seen the minis in the flesh or something?)
...But there isn't a single positive word about the line on the site that picture was sent to:

Please Mongoose by the time SST:EVo is out start taking proper pictures!
A good picture of a bad paint job is way more useful than a bad picture of an ok paint job, and all you've gotta show is the eyes have just been shaded and haven't been attempted by a disinterested Chinese worker.

I followed the thread above, and after reading all the current posts they seem to be more «trashing» than real opinions. They truly smell like bitching, because... well, just because.

The main issue here is that TMP excels on showing trashy and poor defined pictures online.
Most of the times it seems they work very hard to do that.
If you cross check them with the original picture available at MGP site, you'll see that the TMP ones are a bit degraded.

But the pictures could always be improved, you have a point there.

The point is, it isnt just the TMP trashing BF:E, other than on this site its got a really bad reputation, and blurry pictures really don't help (All the other companies submitting news on the TMP seem to have decent photos as well...), even the ones of the mongoose site are taken so far away you can't see any real detail on them.
Also at least three people out the twelve identified issues which aren't just trashing: 1)Bent weapons 2)Google eyes 3) Massive price, all of which are an opinion. (You're right though the rest are just bitching, thats why I dont post on the TMP lol)

But yeah I don't really care about any of that (Since Matt's said that the BF:E stuff is selling pretty well), what I do care about though is SST:Evo's release being perfect
