Wave 2 tomorrow?

Update: I just found wave 1 and 2 at the game parlor in chantilly. The shipment came in yesterday. I believe they got both waves in, as I think they were cleaned out of wave 1.

Now what I am I going to do with the spare Shadow in the box? I need some Force Recon so that other Shadow doesn't get lonely...

There's no need for your shadows to be lonely until the advanced rule book comes out. Nothing says you can only take two shadows at the moment :wink:

Oh and I'm kind of hoping that the advanced rule book will have a rule about allowing an additional shadow so that I can transport entire squads of marines not just part of them. I am hoping there will be rules for different force organisations such as mechanized, armoured and air cav.

Although... come to think of it a recon team will only need one shadow. The other shadow can be used for infantry squads. Yay!

They don't have Shadows anymore....

Well, they only had 1 box of Shadows, so when I got mine I guess I did.

That's okay. I'm not in the US anyway. I was just interested. Sounds like they eiher need to review their orders or there are a lot of BF evo players around you waiting for wave 2.

I'm told it's showing up tomorrow. As in, the distributors had it, it went out with the regular shipment, all that jazz. Hopefully I'll be able to pick it up my Shadows then, and giggle at the Technicals...

And so it came to pass. I have Shadows now! I didn't get much giggling time in though: I have a four year old who is car crazy. Which means a) he wouldn't hold still long enough for me to get a good look, and b) if he had, he would have demanded to know why we couldn't buy those cars that Daddy was looking at...

The shadows do seem a bit fragile (so do the technicals actually). You made a wise choice in preventing said child from taking a look at them...

90% of the wave 2 stuff is being sent back from my LGS due to damaged pacaging grrrrrrrrrrr

i picked up a box of technicals, and one has a wheel missing so befor you buy check the wheels are all their and if one is missing let your shop owner know.

thats said the wave 2 paint jobs are awsome

Right-side mirror broken off of my WZ-551, but may have been done when I removed the plastic bubble it came in.

*Warning to others all the new vehicles have small parts easily broken if you rip the packaging open without care*

Left front Gear-Drive wheel on my Warrior is bent horribly askew. I know I had nothing to do with this one.

All the rest of my Wave 2 stuff (2 sets of Shadows, 1 of everything else) looks great and arrived in good shape.

I especially like the labels on the bottom of the infantry. Any chance of being able to order label sets for units already purchased? What if we include receipts so Mongoose knows we are not just proxying them with some other minis?

Good idea. Maybe that will also happen with a re-release of wave 1.

Mine were delivered today.
1 Shadow, 2 Warriors, 2 Fedayeen. Everything was fine except the gun on one of the Warriors...bent about 45degrees. I think will be ok after a good soak in some nice boiling water.

Gun is bent. Not sure what the the other thing is supposed to be...it's British, I think it has something to do with tea??? :lol:

I just came from my local shop, and one of thier technicals had a missing wheel too. My Shadows don't seem to be assembled very well. The bottoms aren't fully attached to the body of the vehicle. (pretty shoddy for $30 a box...) My warrior has the bent thingy on top of the gun too, but it looks like it's supposed to be that way. The bent main gun on it, however, will need to be heat-bended back into place. There are also no antennas on it like the pics show, only holes.

They're in the box. There are two black antennas in the box with the warrior. Possibly strapped to the underside of the warrior.

Picked up two boxes of technicals and one of Fedayeen at lunch. No noticeable damage from outside the box bar a bent gun barrel on one technical

thing on top of the warrior that looks od is as fr as i have been able to make out from real life examples a par for cutting wire so your crew dont get garoted.

Tie, the Antenna's for mine were in a plastic baggie taped to the belly of the Warrior.
