Paintball..... where the balls are meant to hurt 8)

See, we only had that problem with medieval combat reenactments. Before paintball got popular, you had to strap some foam on a stick and hit other people with it. And, well, sometimes one misses the designated target areas...

Ahhh the days of LARPing :) My stick wrapped in foam was a mace with the apt name of Nadsmasher.......

my last paint ball game my water bottle slid along its belt and ended up coving my tender bits, life has a funny way of keeping you safe, the poor bottle got plasterd when i slid into an enemy bunker i thought was safe !!! we got the flag just on my bravado and flashy moves :D and the bottle will always have that as a designated home now for games.

MLB:Ev

No, WK tried that already. Went over like a lead balloon... :?

That's because the rules sucked and they tried to sell players in random draw packages. It didn't appeal to wargamers because the rules are illogical and too simplistic with no real strategy to the game. And it didn't appeal to sports collectors because they couldn't specifically buy/collect their favorite team without dropping several hundred dollars on random packs.

No, no, your thinking of the original game. They then proceeded to alienate the 0.0001% of the market they had managed to get by releasing new, incompatible figures one year later. That's MLB:Evo...

Actually Gibbs had it right, it was because you were effectively the primary source for the Antenna debate.

Fair enough.

out of my 5 warriors, none have the arials afixed, as it stops rules lawers abusing the rules,

So someone who plays by the rules is a rules lawyer, yet you advocate fielding an incomplete model to garner advantage as acceptable behaviour?

Interesting.

What's next, a sawn off Challenger 2?

LBH

Just got my Command section and Warrior

One complaint, liked the nifty stickers under the figures but there is none under the vehicle to tell me what it is :P

Really pleased with the Warrior, has a floppy, bent gun :P but aside from that is great :D

Also saw the others (apart from the PLA APC) up close, the Shadows are a bit "meh" but the Technicals and Fedayeen! :D Absolutely gorgeous!

oh one more pedantic point, the Warrior's card says "Warrior APC". It's not, it's an IFV

It'd probably look like this:

Don't think of it as "incomplete" LBH so much as "that's how it came in the box", remember these are prefabricated models. We're not meant to do any assembly at all.

As a house rule we don't actually play if you can see any part of the model (when it extends to gun barrels and aerials on tanks) to avoid that sort of debate.

If you mean the bar over the 40mm cannon, that's apparently a bar to protect the crew and passengers from cables strung across the road, not a gun. It's bent on the studio photos too.

No the gun itself, just slightly wonky and won't stay fixed in place, keeps dropping onto the hull

Hmmm... sounds like a case of depression. Try encouraging it.

Failing that you may want to glue it in place.
