Wave 2 tomorrow?

Well, tomorrow is the 16th, the (second) street date for wave 2 here. The question is, do we think it's really going to happen, and take a long lunch to run to my LGS to see if they came in, or wait for the spottings to start coming in? I Want My Shadows!

BTW, WTF is a "Stoat"? I thought Weasel was bad...

well in the uk, we may have another delay with many thanks to the distributer they have the stock and they have the orders, they just dont wish to deliver yet

Let's just have no more excuses or delays. Better still just have release months rather than specific dates which don't really mean much and then just get people annoyed when they don't get things immediately.

all the will in the world, its not mongoose holding it back now though its the darn distributers, not sure what you can do about that to be honest bar the use of nipple clamps.

I would avoid threatening the use of nipple clamps against our LGS up here, we would never get anything.... offering them as incentives and things would work

You may want to think about changing LGS. :wink:

Evil, nipple clamps have been proven to be ineffective when dealing with distributors, what you need is a car battery and leads with alligator clips on both ends that does it everytime :wink: :lol:

Failing that sick the lawyers on them. :twisted:

Not quite sure how many LGS you have near you, but there aren't many over here.... anyway i like em

If you are going to use any type of force it should be forcing them to listen to the music charts...

There is also a delay in ACTA new stuff appearing.
Its been 5 weeks since the release of the Z'Takk and others and there still not available in the UK ( only a few ).
Just thought i'd let u BEVo people your not alone in suffering from distributor delays/ customs crap.

That's an interesting bit of information thanks JayRifer.

You make a good point Cordas although one LGS that specialises in stocking only one brand of miniatures (no more clues) was actually playing chart music. That was a while ago and I've not been back in a while.

As for the real LGS, it prefers the cone of silence method. No music just quiet.

So you're suggesting basically that we need to walk into our LGSs with ipods and speakers and start playing oh I don't know whatever's in the charts these days? Because I have a eal moral objection to actually financially supporting those b people by buying their songs. Quiet frankly, apart from a few of them, I think that they should go in Geneva convention as cruel and de-humanising.

Although I suppose you could jump an emo kid and take their ipod. :whink:l

Not sure about it being a riot, all they seem to do is call me the Terminator or Matrix because I have the intelligence to wear sunglasses when the sun is out.... Doesn't remember anyone in those films having long hair and a beard (and a belly).... but hey they are chavs for a reason....
