Wave 1, wave 2 infantry comparison

I heard that the wave 2 (and newer versions) infantry from wave 1 added some detail and better paintjob. I was wondering if someone had some pictures of USMC infantry from wave 1 and 2 for comparison. Im just curious how big of difference it is and if it's worth looking into getting only wave 2 version of the infantry

Just speaking for myself here, but I was perfectly happy with the initial Wave 1 dudes.... and I did wind up getting a signifigant number of boxes. They were soldiers that I could play with straight off, and didn't have to paint! My wife says that I am not a wargamer, I am a collector of unpainted miniatures!

Yes, they are much better. Wave 3 are just awesome.

Dude, there is NO WAVE 2 USMC infantry! Just Wave 2 British infantry from the Command Section and Warrior IFV set, as well as MEA Fedayeen infantry. Now, while they may not be USMC, these Wave 2 infantry models are better painted and modeled than any Wave 1 infantry.

I think he's asking about the second release of wave 1 which are better painted by a small degree. i.e. the googly eyes have been fixed and the USMC camo is darker and more defined.
