The USS Turner Joy was saved as a museum ship for it's history within the context of the Vietnam War. It's in Bremerton, Washington. I plan to go see it sometime, as it's within driving distance from me. Bremerton was where I saw the Missouri when it was mothballed in the reserve fleet back in the 1980's.
