Vree and Ramming Speed

Dizzy Vree

Mongoose
Ive noticed that all agile ships get +1 when making a ramming speed roll, well the vree dont have agile, but they are meant to be the (second) most manuverable fleet on the game, surely they should gain a +1 aswell

(and maybe cause extra damage, for being basicly a spinning disc/ saw/ shuriken type thing :D )

Nope, you need to be crippled to ram, when Vree are crippled they aren't any more manouverable than anyone else.

oh, i thought it was agreed they could still go SM, but at even lower speed
ok then

There is a difference between being SM at half speed and having the SM ship trait. There are advantages as well as disadvantages to this.

SM is not a ship trait... I don't see it listed in the list of traits, and I don't see it in the "Special Rules" box for any ships. A Shadow Ship can't lose its SM if it takes a "lose 1 random trait" crit...

Are you sure? ;) I misspoke. It is called a "turn score". I've no clue where they were when they decided on that term. Do note that the SM "score" allows you to not move at all without a special order. Wierd, but its there.
