I hope you can access the site.

Thanks

yeah, I thought that the transports kinda looked boring so I took some extra starship trooper bug legs and graphed them on. Makes them look more beefy, even thought I think the transports are too weak for playing purposes. (2AD beam, very likely you miss all together. I would rather it be set back to 12" and 3AD)

what do you think of the red destroyers? I tried to get them as close to the show colors as possible.

Very nice.
The red Destroyers especialy.
As to putting pics in posts, i don't know how it works exactly with the MSN groups that you use, but to attach pics from sites like photobucket you copy the link address under the pic then paste it into your post in between the tabs found at the top of the post reply screen.

Eg,
[img]"Picturelink"

When you reply or post there is a list of buttons just below the Subject field. When you want to post an image to the forum, click the button with the Img on it. Insert the URL to your image, then click the Img button again. That will format it properly for you.

So lets see how it works.

There you are! I'll let you work through it for the rest.

now it may be my PC but that image didn't show up, It made me chuckle ;-)

seems it's my puter, suddenly blocking 9 out of 10 images, bah

Also I am making a planet killer and have hit a bump. It is not done yet by far but I don't like the outer wings. I think they should be shorter and skinnier.

Note: everything will be painted later so the ugly colors will be gone.

here it is

I think I should have done more in wood.

Hi I'm a total noobie to the game with the exception of a small tutorial using the cardboard ships and out of all the races in the series I love the Vorlons and the ISA so right now i'm hunting down those fleet box sets.

So tell me what a Vorlon fleet like to play compared to other fleets?

Note that if you can find the 1st ed. ISA fleet box it comes with 2 victory destroyers and 10 white stars, which is pretty good value for money compared to trying to buy them seperately.

Same goes for the 1st ed. Vorlon box, which contains two heavy cruisers.

Alas, I wouldn't be able to tell you as I'm total n00b myself ;)

lol is hasn't been painted yet, what you are seeing is 8 CD's glued together and then ground down to that disk shape.

I am almost finished the model, but have not painted it yet, I will post when done the model and then again when completely painted.

Oh, ok.

first I start with a white primer, then paint everything that green/yellow color.(more green than yellow) I then use a darker grey to do the patches. I then just paint on those random patches evenly and have found that having high concentrations of the spots in some areas and low in others looks better and give a better organic look.

I then do a light yellow wash over all the greenish stuff (about this time is when I do the vorlon sails which are black base with purple/blue patches)

After that it is just the detailing of the engines, stripe/symbols on the outer sail, the black base and anything else small. After everything is painted I spray them with a gloss finish to give them that vorlon shine.

I think thats it, if you want to know the exact color I use I can tell you.
