Vehicles

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good source of vehicles for Mega City. There's plenty out there but the combination of style+scale is hard to find. As far as citizen vehicles are concerned it's tough to get the right scale. At 28mm I have plenty of tanks and so forth from other games but they're only good for citi-def situations (I also play the Dredd RPG).
Any suggestions welcome.
cheers :)
Just bought several box sets - very satisfied!

It is true that civilian scifi vehicles are fairly rare and then there's the problem that what is out there may not be "propa Dreddy" for you. Here however are some recent suggestions:

Some of the manufacturers mentioned also have a few vehicles that could me very easily converted to civilian models by just leaving the guns out.

I picked up a few sets of "Marx Cars of the Future" on Ebay a while back for use in Dredd games. I first saw them shown on this great post-apocalyptic thread on another forum.

They look a quite 1950's but I think that they fit quite well as the roadsters that are seen in Dredd stories. They also dont have visible wheels so could pass as flying vehicles if necessary too.

Another item that I have been hoarding for a few years for populating a futuristic model city (when I eventually get around to building one) with cheap vehicles is computer mice. I think that these ones look pretty cool and very Dredd.

I have also picked up suitable toys as I come across them, a particular favourite being the truck visible in the top of this shot.

I think that as Mega City One is such a hotchpotch of styles a mix of vehicles will be the most convincing.

I haven't updated it for ages but I found quite a few suitable vehicles: http://sipeggblock.blogspot.com/search/label/vehicles

I have a half dozen or so more that I have stolen off my kids and converted in the last couple of years, on ebay I find searching for 'concept' cars is a good way to find futurish vehicles and taking the computer mouse a little further there is a company http://www.motor-mouse.net/ who makes a mouse version of a 911 that looks great.

Old Crow do some nice stuff, some of which is less military looking.
