VaS on Armybuilder

I got bored the other day, so started making armybuilder files for VaS. If anyones interested, you can download them here. Only Kriegsmarine and Royal Navy so far, sorry.

Its all in there except the Narrow seas stuff. If you're trying to use the Z plan ships for the Kriegsmarine, you have to activate it in the roster options.

i've seen the ships stats. in a battle you'll be saying "ciao duilio" very quickly so it seems an appropriate typo :wink:

Just downloaded the VaS armybuilder files. You rock dude!

One thing I noticed. The files show the North Carolina class battleship as having a 5+ armor value. (Which IS what it says in the book, admittedly.)

Wasn't that on the list of errata (should be 6+), or am I misremembering.

Had a look in the FAQ, doesn't say anything there about changes to the North Carolina. If you know where this change is, I'll check it and update it.

And yes, I will update it with OoB, but there will be one issue. Living on the other side of the world, and going by Mongooses previous shipping times to people I know here, it will be March by the time that I get it. If I'm lucky.

I'll stick with player-supported type tools...Excels, or other avenues of gaming support than a pay-for type thing

I already had it for another game anyway. Probably only use it for actually BUILDING the lists though as I prefer some of the stat cards available online.

Its a nice tool if you do several different wargames, I think I use it for 5 different game systems.

I've been writing datafiles for it for LotR for many years now, so I did VaS cause I was bored.
