Vacuum trade code not used?

Going through the effect trade codes have on various types of goods, I can't seem to find the vacuum trade code used anywhere. Assuming there's not something in the eratta I've missed, how should I utilize the vacuum code?

I'd say use the same modifiers as for Asteroid Belts. IIRC I did point out in the MGT playtest that it was missing, but I guess they didn't do anything about it.

(as an aside, I'm not entirely sure why Ice Capped worlds should always be selling petrochemicals - where do they get them from?).

I think the vacuum trade code is "included" in other trade codes, for
example the asteroid and ice capped trade codes.

I don't know what you mean by that. Certainly there are vacuum worlds that are neither asteroids nor ice capped. (I generated quite a few of them.) If "Va" doesn't have any effect on its own, what is the point of including it?

I will probably take EDG's suggestion, though maybe not for radioactive ores.

As a distinct category for PC homeworlds, perhaps?

Of course, for example industrial worlds and non-agricultural worlds can
be vacuum worlds, too, but in these cases the "industrial" or "non-agri-
cultural" property determines the trade opportunities, not the "vacuum"
property.

I just had an image flash across my mind; a really smooth con artist, trying to sell vacuum from a vacuum world to heavy industry.

In bulk.

I bet H. Mudd could do it. :)
