CharGen p.1: "For example, a character might have Engineering 0, allowing him to make Engineering skill checks without an unskilled penalty". Does that mean that a Skill-0 has no specialties, and specialties are chosen only if level 1 or more is received?

CharGen p.10: "A mission goes wrong, and you and several others are captured and mistreated by the enemy. Gain your jailer as an enemy, and reduce your Strength and Dexterity by one because of your injuries". Is it possible to treat these injuries like other CharGen injuries (i.e. by paying medical costs)?

My understanding of the medical expenses stuff was that if the career was not on the list, you were 100% responsible for it.

The example of the Barbarian (not on the list) shows that he was responsible for all of the expenses.

When trying to elist into a profession, does the age modifier mean actual age or effective age (when using anti-aging drugs) ?

Are the armor costs ("10% of hull" and so on) on Ship Design p.2 per each 5%-hull increment or per ton of armor?

What are the TLs for each drive type (Ship Design pp.3-4)? Are jump-drives limited by drive letter (as in CT-LBB2) or by TL (as in CT-HG)?

G-Carriers (Equipment pp.19-20) are far more expensive than in CT and are TL15 rather than TL8. Any reason for this?

How much does the Library program (Ship Design p.12) cost? Is it included in the ship's price?

What is the tonnage of ship's computers (Ship Design p.7)? Is their tonnage subsumed in the bridge?

The Scout/Courier and Free Trader (Common Spacecraft p.1) are listed as having 2 points of armor each; is that a result of added armor (why would a Free Trader be armored by default?) or does the basic hull provide a degree of armor?
