Thank you matt, this is everything I wanted for marines - digital camo and packs/pouches on their vests! Hope the production figures are as good as the prototypes.

Now, these particular marines are so good, that I plan to only have USMC force made up of Force Recon. Would the rules allow for that? I mean lets just say it's further into the future and this is what regular marine equipment will look like.

Crud, and I had planned to stay w/ just PLA and EFTF, with a dash of MEA as my playing stuff. After seeing these I'm sorely tempted to dive into the USMC figures as well.

Looking at the stats, they look pretty interesting. Just a 6 man team, but all of them have a 20" range d6+1 grenade launcher, land warrior system, plus the MG guy, and the ability to take another. Then there's the stealth and infiltration, the bonus to armor when in cover.

Small, maneuverable 5" movement, and able to put out a whopping 20 suppression in one shooting action if prepared. This unit unit could seriously lock down an entire flank so long as there's no vehicles about. Once again, for some reason the more developed armies of the USMC and EFTF seem to be lacking in serious anti tank ability in their infantry units, but only made up by their tanks and vehicles being pretty nasty.

So far, I'm really liking the way spec ops, and other special units, are being handled in BFE. After the big disapointment in how SST special units were handled (spider bugs... with no special web ability or anything?), it looks like the stat writers really got on the ball with BFE.

Not what I expected either. For some reason I expected the Force recon and the SAS to have their styles switched. I was a big fan of GRAW when it came out though, so I'm a happy camper.

@Mr. Evil- That was so funny I had to make it!

I didn't know what to expect from these but they look cracking, all the USMC need now is anti-tank stuff and there laughing

Matt. With the long waited shots of the SAS and Recon team out now, this game has been sold to me. These are great models and with the improvement on paint quality in the wave 2 producton pics im sure these look fantastic to.
