Updating Playtest Groups

Banded Mongoose
Is there a simple way to let us know what's changing? For example if I had not read through a bunch of messages just now I would not know that Hasten has been dropped from combat and that the character generation system has been changed. Is there an update document posted somewhere with these changes? If not could one be produced? Something once a week would be fine. We're running another session this weekend and we want to do some combat and I want to do it right. Also I see another version of the core rulebook is up on DriveThruRpg. I've downloaded it but not had a chance to look it over yet. Are the changes obvious (like a different color font)? I need to know at a glance what's different. A change document would be nice. I don't have time to review a 250ish page document multiple times during this playtest period. Knowing the changes would be really helpful.

Please don't take this as a rant but merely some strong suggestions. And I appreciate that Matt and crew are listening to us. :)

I downloaded the color version just now, and it is the same one from the 4th. Which file did you download? Last update on drive thru was the 15th.

The website indicated it was an updated version of the printer-friendly rulebook. Couldn't the character sheet have been sent out as a separate pdf? I'm really glad at this point we didn't do our initial plan to print the thing out and bind it for use at the table. We're assuming additional changes will be forthcoming.

I would expect it would not be hard to add a version number in the file name and on the first page. So when we go look we see V1 in the name, don't download. V2, ah then download and read update notes. What do you think?
