Not a huge amount changed, but all consolidated now. You can find both here;

Hi Matt,

Would it be possible to date the errata so we know we have the latest version.

Also, it would help if changes from the lastest errata were somehow highlighted, otherwise where the errata says for example 'remove one attack dice from each Phaser 2' it might get changed twice in succession. Picky I know, but it does add clarity.

Having read the latest errata, I am unsure what has changed since the last issue, date unknown!

Digger, they are dated at the top. But the ones I've just downloaded seem to have the same date as previous ones. I'm confused.

I concur, highlighting what has changed would be very helpful.

I can't see anything new either :?

Reactions:

I thought there was going to be one intergrated list?

Which one is going to be used in official tournaments and reprints - both or just the critical updates.

Why are the Romulan Phaser III upgrades to the Firehawk and Sparrowhawk "critical" when they are as far as I am aware its purely a SFU one?
Ditto with the phaser II downgrade for the D7C

I would have thought the rules for civilian tractor beams was a critcial update

Highlighting the latest changes works very well for GW FAQ / Errata updates

I don't see any clarification on the Federation combined drone/ADD rack question. Neither in the errata or FAQ.

I'm also not seeing anything changed.

I don't think its the right file - either that or its designed to confuse and confound

anyone fancy mailing Matt and asking

Odd.

I am getting the new FAQ (can someone else confirm that?), but the errata refuses to budge, even though I have physically overwritten it.

This _may_ be a server cache issue. The web guys have gone home now, but let's see if this persists tomorrow morning.

You might want to put on the ADD part example that shows what happen when you roll two one's just for surety. Also is this change applicant to EVERY anti-drone system or it it just federation specific?

Every ADD already works that way. Only the Feds were resetting to the original amount if not at zero.

That seems to be the case now but at least the rulebook(both pdf and dead tree version) I have don't say that. Phrasing is one that fits "if 1+ dice comes up as 1 then ADD is reduced by 1".

Big change this way.

Okay, the new FAQ addresses the very confusing Federation combined ADD/drone racks. Thanks Matt for a definitive ruling to help with the confusion.

"Ah, I am with you, can see the confusion now.

May need to alter the FAQ text (heh) but no, once 'converted,' Federation drone racks are _no_ different to ADD and use exactly the same rules. So, if any of the ADD dice roll a 1, you just lose 1 ADD/drone"

Matt said this at 2:32 pm today on page 5 of the "rules according to Matt" thread.

still no change to the Gorn CL Phaser reduction - yes, it should lose 2 Phaser 1's, but from the 'F' arc, not the Hemisphere mounts - you now have a Gorn ship that can't shoot backward, a Gorn 'standard', as how else are they going to deal with the Bird Boys (though my Errata still has a date od 20/02/2012 - may not be the new one)

And does the D7C lose Phaser 2's (seems to suggest this as it says reduce Phaser 2 batteries by 1 AD - or is that figured into the ship changes - as this actually leaves it with less Ph-2 than a D7 or D6)
