Typos & Suggested Edits

Mongoose
In the past and current release (NEWTRAV_UPDATE_4_DEC.pdf) there were a couple typos. Here they are with suggested edits:

Page 147 (typo, noted in bold print): The original text states: “More detailed rules for salvaging derelict ships can be founding High Guard.” The last three words should read “found in High Guard.”

Page 153 (typo, noted in bold; left column, second paragraph under Travel Times): The original text states, “1G is equal to approximately 10 meters per second per second.” One “per second” should be deleted.

G is a measure of acceleration, so there should actually be two 'per second' in the second example.

Whoops! I had an inkling it was something like that. I knew I should have looked that up before posting. Sorry about that, and thanks!

repost of my post in Space Combat.

in Space Combat on page 160 it says that overloading the drive to provide extra speed is a Difficult(19+) task. I'm assuming that's a typo and should say Difficult(10+) since the skills and tasks chapter lists 10+ as the TN for difficult.

Some last minute typos/suggestions/clarification requests (from the printer friendly Dec 4 version):

In addition to the below, the vehicle armour sections are empty in the printer friendly version. Should they show something?

p147
Derelicts
"More detailed rules for salvaging derelict ships can be founding High Guard." (TYPO)
"More detailed rules for salvaging derelict ships can be found in High Guard."

p157
"Missiles use slightly different rules to other spacecraft weapons, which are covered on page 157."
Points to Mounted Weapons?..this paragraph is a bit confusing. Missile weapons are on p161, which is mentioned, but the references are not clear.

p158
Double and Triple Turrets
"One attack roll is made for all weapons being fired, but each additional weapon adds +1 per damage dice to the final damage total."
"One attack roll is made for all weapons being fired, but each additional weapon adds +1 per damage die to the final damage total."
Not sure your policy on dice/die?

p160
Actions Step
Overload Drive (Engineer)
"A successful Difficult (19+) Engineer (m-drive) check (1 round, INT) will increase the ship’s Thrust by one during the next round."
"A successful Difficult (10+) Engineer (m-drive) check (1 round, INT) will increase the ship’s Thrust by one during the next round."

p161
Actions Step
Repair System (Engineer)
"Any additional Hull damage and destroyed equipment and weapons cannot be repaired this way and will require the spacecraft to leave combat."
CLARIFICATION: Additional damage made after the repair???

p166
Far Trader
"While less cargo can mean less profits, the ability to reach further systems or to travel between stars at a faster rate can more than make up for this in the hands of a clever captain."
Surely farther! ;¬)

p178
Scout/Courier
"Despite the small 100 ton hull, the scout is faster than most merchant ships and can jump further too."
Again, farther.

p191
"While there are a great many customised modules available for the cutter, the three most common and routinely available for the cutter are listed below and detailed on Page XX."
Page XX!!!

p238
Number One patron text missing bold formatting

I think the further vs. farther spelling is a UK vs. US thing, where in UK English spelling further is the prefered version in all cases. And I think the whole book uses UK spelling throughout?
