Type L Lab Ship - Where's The Bridge?

I'm looking at the Lab Ship in the Traveller Core Rulebook, and I'm wondering where the bridge is. Or is the ship controlled from the pinnace?

The lab ship bridge, IIRC, is facing backwards (i.e., same direction as the maneuver drive exhaust ports).
