Two different versions of OOB?

Two friends have editions of OOB that contain B-17 stats (As well as some others). My edition contains NO B-17 STATS.

Both editions arrived in the SAME SHIPMENT!

I suppose this is a distributor error?

Am I going to see an errata sometime soon? Will it address this particular error or should I start copying data out of my friend's book now?

I'm glad I held off buying the OOB. It sounds like a right mess.

I really like VaS. What's gone wrong?

Most of the errata and updates are about stat tweaks. When you think how many ships and aircraft are detailed in OOB there are bound to be a few errors.

I've bought it and I've been playing it.
The games good, VaS and OO, but it does feel as though the game has been light on thorough testing (although the play testers may disagree with me) and in depth analysis of interactions.

Wasn't most of DMs errata was taken up with changing VaS stats to match up with OOB?

We should really give mongoose credit for patching things up and releasing the list of ammendments (if they ever do). A lot of companies would just release and forget.

Fully agree. They just need a slightly better process to manage it. I'm sure they will oblige

What page has the B-17 stats? I just got my OOB recently and don't see them. They do not seem to be in the errata just posted either.

I don't mind the length as it is kind of bloated in that it contains entire sections to include minor errata, e.g. reposting the entire stats of a generic minesweeper just to give it the Minesweeper trait.

I am kind of a completist, so I would like all the available stats, especially if they were supposed to be in the book I paid money for.

Could Mongoose assume we all have the original version of OOB please and add ALL the missing errata to the pdf not just the ones that didnt make the reprint please .

Its annoying enough to get a pdf for this when a second print has been done but the fact it doesnt list missing stats like the B17 etc just compounds the issue.

Even if it were a separate download with just the differences between the 1st and second printing would be acceptable. It is not acceptable to find out 2 weeks after picking a $30 book that I have an old copy without all the information that was intended to be in it.

I don't mind that Mongoose is updating the print copies as they go. The problems though are a) having an update so soon after release is annoying to those who pre-order and b) why is the new data still not available to download?
