True (Weapon)

That said, I'm not convinced that Truesword is unbalanced. Divine Magic is not always availiable due to the shrine requirement, and all but the most powerful will run out of spells before a sorcerer runs out of MPs. As a counter, the spells are more powerful. True Sword SHOULD be better than the corresponding spells in the other systems.

In as much as there is any kind of issue, it's to do with the Truesword giving more to a greatsword than a rapier. So it's not the balance of Truesword to Bladesharp or Damage Enhancement.

Personally I like the idea of Truesword adding one additional dice rather than doubling the dice. It's a pretty minor point. That said, Truesword is probably worse than Bladesharp 4 for anything other than a Greatsword. After all adding 1d8 is only slightly better than +4 damage and you don't get the additional +20%.

If it were me, I would allow Truesword to add 1 additional dice and *ignore its Magnitude in armour points provided by magical effects.* That would make it better than Bladesharp 4 and not over-favour Greatswords.

There's nothing wrong with Truesword RAW. As someone upthread said though, it hasn't been quite as well polished as some of the other divine spell updates, IMHO.
