Jump 2 won't get you there. ;) I picked up a copy, and was trying to flow chart out the likely plotline. The jump from Lysen to Louzy is Jump 4; any other route requires Jump 3.

Painfully, Tripwire doesn't point this out explicitly in the text. The section on getting the PCs into a new ship (p 25) makes mention of PC interest in upgrading the Jump drive, but is otherwise silent.

GMs will need to provide allowances for deep space refueling, Jump 3 / 4 capability, or additional fuel capacity.

I didn't want the PCs to get Jump 3 / 4. Instead I decided that the Imperial forces set up a number of secret fuel dumps throughout the Jewell subsector and they gained access to them via an NPC (not wanting to give any spoilers away). That way I could keep the players using a Jump 2 ship.
