This is excellent news for me - the only problem will be the money, al-
though there will probably be a less expensive PDF version later on.

Many of the ideas from Babylon 5 fit into my setting much better than
their OTU equivalents, and to be able to introduce them into my setting
within the framework of the Traveller rules system makes things much
easier for me.

Besides, Narn (as true aliens) and Centauri and Minbari (as human sub-
species, like the Darrians of the OTU) will also be very welcome to my
setting's universe, especially because there is such a lot of background
material available on their cultures.

The announcement for MGT B5 got me to rent the B5 series. The first few episodes of season 1 were a little tough to get through (unlike say, the new Battlestar Galactica which had me from go) but by mid-season I could overlook the cheesy costumes and FX and get into the story and characters. I'm into season 2 now and enjoying it.

It always seems that IPs I'm interested in end-up getting published using rules systems I don't like, I'm looking forward to MGT B5.

I'm not sure that you can yet. I got what I posted off a retailer only website, from Alliance Game Distributor. I'm sure that mongoose will post it soon.

Go to your local FLGS, of which there are several in NJ, and tell them of it. Make sure they know you're interested!

Oh great, another rules system for B5. At least Mongoose aren't promising rules compatibility this time, not yet anyway.
