There are at least 3 of us on this board in the region, I know 'cuase I just say two of y'all in the flesh yesterday.

Anyways nearly a decade ago we had a conclave of the Travellers of the Bay Area region.

I'm thinking it is time for another one.

I like the idea, depending. I don't have ready (or willing) access to the South Bay, for one, and will only BART into Oakland or SF. (Oakland just because I don't care for largish cities, SF because I avoid bridges whenever I can.)

I'm not sure if I would call that luck..... I've met Doug.

its simply one of the best Traveller books ever written 8) 8)

Though honestly Doug was one of the other key players in the last set of Traveller Meet-ups.

Though in that incarnation of meetings we had horrible luck with venues. three times the agreed upon meeting location had catastrophic events days prior to the event.

Thus, "Palm trees in a dumpster is not a good sign".

Anybody know a good Tiki bar in the greater SF Bay region?

I've been going to DunDraCon almost every year since 77. That's when I bought my first copy of Traveller AAMOF.

Show up to the big Ogre Miniatures game at DDC and you'll meet some of the Bay Area gang, then. I know some subset of the Tactics-0 gang generally shows up at DDC a well.
