Traveller in E-Book?

They're already available as PDFs. But having one specifically formatted for an e-reader might be desirable.

Any chance of getting the Mongoose Traveller books released as E-Books?

There ya go.

There are more ereaders out there than just the iPad. The Kindle has the largest market share of dedicated ereaders, but far more people read ebooks on their iphone. And iphone isn't the #1 smart phone (its #3, android is #1 and blackberry is #2). Formatting tables to be easily read on all of these (especially when you can zoom in, destroying the formatting) in one single file is near impossible.

If you have an Ipad, then Goodreader is the best thing to read your PDF on.

This is good information to know actually. I was unaware that I would not be able to read pdf files on a Kindle. I had planned on using a Kindle (that I would buy in my near future) to hold gaming books in pdf format.

If I cant do that, well, I may hold off in my Kindle purchase.

I read PDFs on my Kindle all the time. It does have problems with opening the occasional PDF but handles most. The kindle seems to have problems with some of the PDF writers out there.

So far all the Traveller PDFs I've tried open just fine.

For PDFs I would strongly recommend the DX version of the Kindle. the bigger screen is a must.

Agreed, I have a lot of Traveller stuff on my iPhone which I access with Goodreader, it will even open the large Mongoose Maps, and it's zoomable too.

This next year, there will be a color eInk reader. Not like the back-lit color readers out so far. This is what I'm waiting for.
