Traveller Dice

Oops, I ordered some of the 6-sided ones and didn't notice these were only four!
Still, they are cool looking. Maybe they will offer this style in d6 eventually.

You could play Traveller with 4-sided dice. The range of 3d4 is from 3 to 12, whereas the range of 2d6 is 2-12, they are almost the same. Everywhere you would throw a 2d6 in Traveller, you could instead throw a 3d4. The 3d4 probability curve is bell-shaped, while the 2d6 curve is pyramid shaped. What would it mean for Traveller if you used 3d4s?

I kinda like the double 6 dice.....

But when you said Traveller Dice I thought this http://www.farfuture.net/
Those are dodecahedrons! They can be 12-sided dice, double-six-sided dice, triple-four-sided dice, and quadruple-3-sided dice. Do they have any that are all of those all at once?

I've got the Far Future dice, they are AWESOME. They are considerably bigger and heavier than your typical D6.

Of course I also have a bunch of 32mm (I think) dice I picked up at my FLGS for when we play at a big table and my old eyes need to see the rolls a few feet away... :)

There's also the Game Science Traveller dice, if you can find them in stock still. They are the regular D6 size. https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=traveller+rpg+dice&view=detailv2&&id=D272B50C6EE748ABD70165F414A0009085FD8917&selectedIndex=0&ccid=UoMlbgiW&simid=608015912270955165&thid=OIP.M5283256e0896ac6bbb271e3d00dd7d69o0&ajaxhist=0
