I just saw this set of dice and thought they would be really cool for Traveller. I'm still using the plain, white d6's. Any other cool options out there?

Those are actually 4-sided dice (triple fours).

You could play Traveller with 4-sided dice. The range of 3d4 is from 3 to 12, whereas the range of 2d6 is 2-12, they are almost the same. Everywhere you would throw a 2d6 in Traveller, you could instead throw a 3d4. The 3d4 probability curve is bell-shaped, while the 2d6 curve is pyramid shaped. Those are dodecahedrons! They can be 12-sided dice, double-six-sided dice, triple-four-sided dice, and quadruple-3-sided dice. Do they have any that are all of those all at once?Infojunky said:
