traveller as a TTG?

what would be needed to run a small scale (2-6 figs per side) tabletop game using MT? By Tabletop I mean miniatures game, I know there were rules for minis in the old (CT) version but has anyone been able to get any for the Mongoose version?

Hmm, RPGs going full circle (again)

At that scale, I'd be fairly comfortable using the full MTG combat ruleset. After all, that's the magnitude of most combats in the RPG context. If you're looking to simplify, just assume everyone has 7-7-7 physical stats as standard, for a start. Assuming average damage for weapons doesn't really work as it would make some armour invulnerable to things that should have a chance to hurt.
