Well, there are a hundred other things I should be doing .... what did you have in mind

Its just that urge to know ... what is it really like??? Its why I'm obsessed with history and do alot of Roman and Viking re-enactment. I don't care about generals and battle fleets, I want to know what the menu is, or what you see when you look down that corridor ..there. That kind of thing. They bug me and I have to have to scratch ..

Well, there are a hundred other things I should be doing .... what did you have in mind

Well, most people who I play Traveller with (at the moment taking some downtime to read up about running RPGs) are casual gamers. So I'd typically be looking for things that reflect life as a character in a Traveler Universe.

1. Navy fleet.
Something to show just how big a local fleet is, something to make the PCs nervous when looking out a window.

2. Space station.
Of differing classes.

3. Miners in an asteroid belt
Self explanatory. See "Beltstrike" module for more ideas.

4. Typical ship used by players taking off/ refueling via a gas giant/ landing either in a high-tech port or some dirt track hacked out of a mountain side (I have experience of that with a SOAF Shorts Skyvan where the airstrip doubled as the football pitch)

Ha, interesting ideas! Good scenario locations. I am limited to my skills at Google Image Search, with credit for anything remotely artistic/linked to Traveller.

The mining rig or space station sound do-able, but again it would all be down to borrowed images.

Going on with the starline, if I get the time, I'd be inclined to produce a staff recruitment brochure, with pay, perks, ranks, layout of crew section on a Stellar Class, etc.
