Guys,
Got back from Aldershot around 10ish - not bad run considering the weather was utterly filthy.
A big thankyou to TGT for organising an excellent tournie - it was my first visit to the shop at Aldershot and have to admit to being very impressed with facilities.
Also big Thankyou to the following for some great games
Game 1: Paul - EA Early years clash of the Olympuses Vs Hyperions. Overall a very tactical game and a well fought draw by both parties
Game 2: Kennyboy - I HATE VREE! I HATE VREE! I HATE VREE (saying it outloud three times seems to help somehow). It's always a pleasure playing Kennyboy as Ken is always playful, infectious and dishes out another damn good thrashing to the pesky shadows. Next time kenny - please use some lube - I will be sore from this shafting for some time.
Game 3: Greg - once again another fun tactical game.... that is of course if tactical means an entire shadow fleet hiding behind a dust cloud in a big girlie huddle waiting until the mimbo's enter 8 inch scout range. First time I have ever played Greg dispite meeting and seeing him at countless Mongoose days over the years. Really enjoyed the game and hopefully will be able to have a rematch next time we all meet up.
Final tally: Drew one, utterly humilated in one, and won one
Final position: 5th out of 10
