Tourney in Aldershot

I am hoping to get a game against KennyBoy, as I have never played against him yet!

I have bought a huge can of 'Whoop-Ass' especially for the day! :twisted:

It will be even more amusing. The In Service date for the T'Rakk is 2241.

(It was for just this reason that the Build two Narn Variantes thread was started; maybe whoever plays Narn could use proxies for the ships in that thread.)

Just to confuse matters even more, P&P's chapter "Building the Narn Fleet", specifically the section "The Narn Capital Ship (2220 - 2230)" mentions both the Thentus and the T'Loth. The T'Rakk is nothing more than half a T'Loth, basically one of the side pods flying by itself.

Suggestion then, if only as a house rule: Narn are allowed to use the Thentus, T'Loth and T'Rakk in the Dilgar War, the written data from P&P replacing the tabled data in the 2e Fleet List.

I've checked out the ISD - Not a chance matey! The ships I have would be so limited, its not worth it!

Shipviewer now gives the In Service date as 2247. 2e Fleet List gives it as 2241. P&P doesn't specifically mention the T'Rakk but the T'Loth is apparently in service some time between 2220 and 2230. Maybe put the T'Rakk's In Service date as 2241 in the 2e Shipviewer and 2213 in the P&P Shipviewer. :lol:

Doh - typo!

I'll leave it as 2241 since there aren't actually any ship stat changes that put it back to 2213 or 2220-2230. Don't have P&P with me, but the Narn chapter is basically fluff isn't it? And we all know how much the fluff usually matches up with the stats

With both Star-Lynx and Digger wanting to get a piece of me (and lets be honest, there is plenty to go round) at the tourney, is there some way that my 1st and 2nd games be alloted to these two?
I appreciate that round 2 is subject to the success/failure in the 1st game, so I don't really know how this would be accomplished... suggestions anyone?

Sadly a bit unlikely for our Crew with work in the morning and quite a trip back. Plus I am thinking at least one of our drivers has better halfs and child to get back to.........

I've just bought/pre-ordered Firestorm armada from maelstrom games. I'm hoping to have it by the 29th Nov so will flash it around.
I don't like the ships much but at that price I could be tempted. And i could see some use for these as Gaim carriers.

Think the Aquans are definitely buyable and I plan to use them as Tal-Kona'Sha proxies as well, aka Da Bosss' Breakthrough". I kind of like the Sorry Lions ships tool. Both of these could paint up very well. Don't like the other two fleets at all and their carriers are "boxy" to say the least.
