RPGNow and DriveThruRPG are having a "ThanksGiveAway". So they are giving away free RPG .pdfs for this week. One of the free books is Thrilling Tales. This is a must have for any pulp fan. It has the history and background of pulp and a cool random adventure generator. (if you cant access it, then you must signed up)

I remember first hearing about it from a review by Vincent Darlage.

Well Thrilling Tales is no longer available for free. But today you can get the Revised Tome of Horrors for free! I love this book! Is a must have for any old-school AD&D gamer, as it has lots of monsters from classic MM books and modules.

You have chack up on this daily!

Although I missed Thrilling Tales for the reasons quoted below, I won't miss the Tome of Horrors and the Conan Pocket HB, which is in fact the only book of the line I didn't bought (somehow I thought 1st Ed, Atlantean, French Atlantean and 2nd Ed would be enough!)

It seems we had an issue with the database last night that was preventing some downloads. Unfortunately we are not going to be able to offer any of the free products that you might have missed due to agreements with our publishers.
The problem has been fixed and you can now go back in and complete your downloads.
Thank you for your business and please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns.

question: is there a difference in content between the pocket and full-sized versions?

Um, yeah. Some serious typos including repeated content earlier in the rules (around the class info for Thieves, IIRC). Lack of Bestiary, Gazeteer, Hyborian Age essay among other things...
