Just my take, I've seen horned helmets that were fine. I've also seen horned helmets that look ridiculous.
I think it comes down to the "doing" of it. I promise to illustrate Conan in such a way, that I will do my utmost to make him look like the cool, death dealing, intense dude that he is.
