Hiya everyone, I did enjoyed these good books and one areas just grabbed my attentions is the Thirdspace aliens and I begun to hunt down any details about it. Found it in the Darkness & Light. Very good book about it. One thing that stuck me is this “eventually, a civil war or some sort of religious strife erupted between two factions of invaders. The Hand, bizarrely, held true to the twisted beliefs of the original invaders, creating a third faction opposed to its own creators. The destruction of the invader’s connection to their home realm threw them into even greater disarray.”
So I begun to wonder the scenarios about it
I am waiting for The Rim and IPX to come out before fleshing it out into proper. A mixed team of scientists, soldiers and such got thrown together under IPX to explore strange ruins on one of the destroyed world two million year ago. First Ones knew about it and somehow Shadows who desire chaos and not mention a brilliant chance to annoy Vorlons delivered the location with stories of awesome and powerful weapons, after all, IPX would LOVE to take the chance, who wouldn't.
After finding strange energy signal, they decided to dig down to see what it is. What they found is an alien and very strange ship, almost pure energy based in fact. (Let call it Dawn) As Dawn and it ship switch on, it signal the Vorlon who suddenly found out they got very dangerous alien waking up and solemnly not very happy about it.
As for characters, let say they were very sacred when Dawn paid attention to some ants that just crawling on it and begun talking to them.
What I was hoping might be happening that Dawn was member of very powerful and far advanced than anyone else in the Galaxy or in Thirdspace
Let say they quite capable of fighting Thirdspace evils in their own realm and while not gaining spaces back as they don't care about some other races but certainly gave them a pause for thought. It is not helped by the fact Dawn's race are also oldest race in the universe on their side. And Dawn who shattered links between Realms almost two million years ago.
Anyway, back to the point, Vorlon is not that happy about it so sent rather large fleet of Vorlon dreadnoughts and smaller ships to destroy it and everything in sight. Umm, something bad happens to that whole fleet as they jumped out into normal space... And Dawn suddenly to jump into an entirely different and incomprehensible form of superluminal space, taking the players with it.
Need to think some more on it though and any suggestions will help
