Maybe Matt ought to make contact head of company to head of company and tell him to stop his peons from jerking him around.

That would actually be quite amusing, considering the company involved. . .

Well I still ain't buying there stuff

hey, we're losing perspective here. All we're doing with the bitching and moaning about the lack of news is discouraging mongoose from sharing the news they have with us!

I've been looking through the archived threads for this, and the promises look good to me. "stick with us, it'll be worth the wait" was the message last month, I believe. Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm happy to wait and see whats worth all this effort.

It's not as if they've pulled the line or the game in the meantime is it? BE is still getting articals in S&P, and you've still got all the stuff you had before.
how is the game any less interesting than when you all started playing it, just 'cos we're waiting on some developement news?

Carry on playing with what you've got. its a good game, enjoy it. And give mongoose a break, they're surely doing their best on this one.

as for you armchair, 40k is an awful game, has been since 3rd ed passed away. if you're lookin' for other games, you could do worse than check out VaS :p

4oK has been an awful game since Rogue Trader passed away :D

You probably are. Odds are, most people reading this forum have at least one of their. . . products. . . in their home.

In other words, if you are a Battlefield Evolution player, you are most likely part of their target market too. Which is kinda why they approached us with this idea in the first place. . .

My guess all along has been Corgi. We'll see eventually "who" the mystery company is. Until then, we're waiting along with Matt. :)

Enough with the tip-toeing around, when can we get a name and some answers?

Hmmmm, Microsoft :P

Perhaps if you name one of their products we can see if we have it.
[ Shhhh, I'm working on his mind  ]

Aren't they talking to Sony about the ST stuff. Maybe it ties in to them because both lines are Evo ?
Who owns the alien/predator rights ?

You the customer is the 2nd party. "3rd party" is an expression referring to a 2nd company not directly related to the original customer/supplier relationship.

From the way Matt makes it sound, the very REASON we might have this third party's products is BECAUSE of BF EVO. In others, we started purchasing these products AFTER we got hooked on BF EVO. So I highly doubt we all started playing video games AFTER playing BF EVO.

We have actually spoken to Corgi in the past - by all accounts, they are not doing so well these days, so we suggested they could sell more models if a game was tied to their products. Went nowhere. Tried the same with Lego (how cool would that be? :)), but we are such a tiny, tiny speck compared to their market!

As soon as we are released from the NDA! Believe me, you won't be able to stop us talking about this one.

Okay, time to stop lurking quits so much. I am a bit upset by the delays in production related to the Evolution titles, however, in seeing the dialog between the forum users and the head of the company I am confident that this is amongst the best gaming companies out there. I actually had the opportunity to meet Matt here in the states a couple of years ago at Kublacon. The fact that the head of the company is participating in the forums is among the best signs you could have. They create some of the best games out there and they keep their customers (at least those that participate in the forums) well within the loop. So kudos to Mongoose, (and please get us some info as soon as you can).
