the traveller affecting other ancients

Just played a 6 point (per side ) armageddon game. My younger son used 3 ancients , one of which was the traveller .My elder son used 3 vorlon heavy cruisers and I used 3 ancient shadow ships that I squadroned.
We assumed that the vorlons and the shadows were affected by the travellers special abilities but did not know if the other ancients would be affected by the traveller as they are on the same side .Any ideas.

It states that all ships coming within 10" act as though they are crippled. There is no mention of only enemy or not affectig friendly. So yes, his own allies would be affected as well!

Yep, allies too, think of it like emines. Its a big static effect in space its not targeted and affects everything equally (except the traveller itself)
