The Rim

It's pretty decent, if a bit short. I could've handled a longer book.

Some things that didn't work for me:

-Two pages wasted on reprinting the galactic map that we've already seen. How about a galaxy map with strange locations?

-I thought the new life forms were a bit on the weak side. Snakes and rats? Really? I was hoping for some servants of the first/old ones. Or something...well....a bit more alien.

-A lesser note, mine had a different paper stock on about four pages. What's up with that?

It just didn't seem as "meaty" as I had hoped. Plus at 96 pages, and several used for ads and an unnecessary map reprint, it's kinda pricey.

A nice 32 page adventure would've been nice. Something that takes the characters from B5 out beyond the Rim and involves them in some weirdness, an alien race or two and some decent action.

Not a bad book. Could've been better. Much better.

The map in the Rim book? The galactic one?

What's different?

I'd be pleasantly surprised if there were some mods to it.
