The Rational?

There is couple of stats in the V@S which I don't get and I wonder whether they are typo's.

The Italian Conte di Cavour's 5+ to hit. They were only marginally smaller that the QE's so I'm a bit puzzled why they get a cruiser-kind to hit.

The JU87 seems to be another one that enjoys a very good stat, which I find strange in an aircraft that tended to die if a fighter even looked at it funny.

The British Nelsons looked a bit off. As built they were good for 23Kts but have same game speed as the 28kt KGVs. Plus their armour, for post Jutland ships, seems a bit weak at 5+.

Can anyone offer enlightenment?

Just on the armour question

The Rodney has
(sides) 330-359mm
(deck) 161mm
(turrets - face) 413mm
(turrets - sides) 228-280mm
(turrets - rear) 228mm
(barbettes) 305-387mm
(conning tower) 254-355mm

whilst KGV has
(sides - midship) 391mm
(sides - ends) 127-178mm
(sides - lower belt) 76mm
(deck) 178mm
(turrets - face) 330mm
(turrets - sides) 178mm
(turrets - rear) 178mm
(turrets - roof) 152mm
(barbettes) 406mm
(conning tower) 381mm

info from http://www.warshipsww2.eu/staty.php?language=E

Hope its of use, but sorry cant help on the working of the stats though

IIRC the Nelson is going to be the subject of an errata entry in OOB. Armour is going up to 6.

Oh, and the aircraft stats are changing completely. Stukas will be rather less survivable than at present :D

Would suggest dropping the speed to 4" at the same time. They were a bit of a floating bunker.
