Liam, I wondered the same thing! (different names though).

I even thought of running a game out there. It lets you build what you want while still using the sector and history.

I figure about 1/2 of a subsector is Frontier and a bit more is Explored and then NOTHING.

I am looking at what actual astronomical phenomena are in that direction as well to see what might be interesting. Since the star map is based on actual star positions (in a 2D format), you can actually do stuff like that here, where you really can't in the OTU, because the real stars they list are either inconsistently placed in space or are at the wrong distances. (Caster and Pollux I'm looking at you! and Antares, don't think I have forgotten about you either!).
