The Dark Knife

I've just about finnished painting my dark knife mini, and I can't remember which side is the front. I know it makes no difference regarding movement, but I kind of want to get the fire arc facing the right way. Anyone out there remember that scene were the ancients shoot up the planet killer? My season 4 is at a friends place.

The darnest thing is that the Dark Knife gets the least screen time of all the 1st 1s ships.

The mini is a bit flat, I've been thinking about basing it on an angle, a bit like the gaim carrier, to see if that makes it a bit more dynamic.

Leading edge. It's rather like a boomerang.... yeah, little detail, but probably more detail than if I had carved it out of wood or wax.

I thought they were meant to go vertical?
Mine came with a slotted base, like an Avioki.

I didn't like the way it looked vertical. I tried cutting a groove in a clear plastic base to mount it (The slotta base looked a bit unsteady) but it didn't look right. This way gives it more of a swooping throught space look. Also the point were you attach it to the base looked kind of flimsy, I could see that I'd be fixing it somewhere along the line.
