Terra/Sol Games?

Has anyone heard anything from Terra/Sol games in the last few months? I know Mongoose is not responsible for them in any way, but I figure someone else here might know what's going on, since they base their stuff on MgT.

I've seen nothing from their principal as a game company since just after the Kickstarter ended last June. That principal has posted on FB a time or two, but never in a gaming capacity.

Beyond that, No idea.

Their forum has been pretty quiet as well.

They lost their primary writer last year (RIP) and I think things have slowed down a bit since then.

Too bad. I was indeed asking because of the Kickstarter, which I still think sounds like a neat product.

Wow, I didn't know John died. Except for the stuff by MJD John was their #1 writer, but also editor, line art coordinator, layout person. Mike Johnson mentioned to me many a time how John was a one-man publishing house.

Loosing all those critical skills was definitely a critical blow to the company as John kept products moving out ready for publication. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Might I ask when this happened?

It was announced on October 2nd 2012 by Mike.

He put a brief note on the main site and sent out some emails.

John was the heart of Terra Sol and the hole left by his passing seems to have left the others unable to continue at any speed.
