Is there an xboat stop at Pax Rulin?

Either it's Cyan - Pax Rulin - Alexin (per the Trojan Reach Mongoose BOOK, left) or Cyan - Alexin (per the Mongoose MAP, right).
It's a MAJOR (maybe THE major) Naval base, it makes sense for the xboats to stop there.
...Then again, one could also rationalize that x-boats DON'T stop there, as certainly the navy has its own military courier vessels/network, in which case xboats would be a) redundant and b) more 'civvie traffic noise' nobody wants going to Pax Rulin. Otherwise Cyan/Alexin is a J5 hop.
Anyone know?

Raised here (I didn't notice it; someone else did while I was admittedly complaining about the inconsistency of styles between the two and the generally lesser utility of the book presentation format)

Looks like they changed it from Pax Rulin to Perrior. Makes sense. X-boat routes are J-4. The new military communication boat network is J-6.

Edit- This map only has the X-boat route, not the military route.

Also, it can't be Cyan > Alexin because that J5 and X-Boats are J4. So the map on the right is saying Cyan > Perrior > Alexin.
Good catch, there is a barely noticeable (to me) bend at Perrior. If Alexin was in 2406 there would be no visible way to tell if there was a stop in Perrior or not (aside from noting the distance making J4 impossible), which is a graphical design failure in the map design imo.

It is Cyan > Pax Rulin > Alexin according to Travellermap, which is the most widely accepted version of "official".
There's an argument for Perrior on practical grounds - if they're as paranoid about civilian ships operating in Pax Rulin as the various sources suggest, I'm not sure it would be a prudent policy to have anything that encouraged any civilian traffic there, much less what amounts to a FEDEX truck stop point.

THAT SAID, in reality, no military base operates in a vacuum (ironically, in this case) either. Military bases have people and people need non-military communication, supplies, etc. Hell, Pax Rulin Quartermasters operates with this as their HQ, I believe, which is intrinsically civilian traffic.

Either Perrior, as the class A starport with a naval base and a huge population or Pax Rulin as the subsector capital with a class A starport and naval base work just fine as the XB destination.

Every source except the one on the right is likely to show it being Pax Rulin, because that's what it has traditionally been. Neither location has a waystation or scout base, so there isn't any reason it couldn't have recently changed if you like Perrior better for whatever reason.

It’s an odd area, a very high concentration of Naval bases in a relatively sparse region.

In my current online game I play an engineer from Alexin and in cooking up his backstory I made Alexin into a belter New Orleans, a 24/7 good-time party place catering to Naval personnel on leave from the surrounding bases. Which is probably why (IMTU) the X-boat route runs thru there in the first place.

It runs through Alexin because that's the only place that is within J4 of Gazulin, the next subsector's capital, other than an Amber zone world with a class E starport.

What new military communication boat network? Reference please

To the OP:
If not, draw one in. It's a Subsector Capital, so it pretty much has to have a route to it.
