Stygia gives on p.149n. some info about these girls.

Is their only / main occupation helping Stygian soldiers in slave acquiring?

AFAIK they are only once mentioned by REH, so any good ideas? Are there historical Egyptian priestesses of a similar kind?

As presented they are a bit one-dimensional...

Idrus is described on page 56. That might add some additional dimension. They are mentioned in a couple of pastiches, but they are really not all that fleshed out in those appearances either. Their main occupation is in defending Stygia; they are priestesses, so they have duties along those lines as well.
